Umm guys, the rotor is aluminum not steel.aluminum has a different/quicker expansion rate then steel so localized heating around the shaft with a propane torch might expand the aluminum enough to assist in removal.And yes as Holler has stressed, use a puller.With or without a torch it IS the easiest way to remove the rotor from the shaft without damaging it.You can buy a puller from sears for about $20.Whether it's sirens,cars bicycles, lawnmowers etc. If you work on things mechanical, you NEED the proper tools to do the job correctly.......
