Re: Cincinnati Metropolitan Area Sirens

I was just in Union Township yesterday, and saw what I think is a 1212 on top of one fire station (with the horns turned vertically), a Model 5 on another, and a Penetrator by a water treatment building. Are all of these still active?

The Model 5, yes, and the P-15, yes. The 1212/115, no. It's the one in Amelia on the station, right?

That's correct.

Is it broken or just not operational?

Just not operational, I believe. (Unless it's used for fire calls) We can see what Clay says.

Clermont County:
I have a few corrections you can make here.

1. The location in Milford you have as an STL-10 was actually a EOWS 1212/115. That was also part of Hamilton County's system, and was replaced with a T-128.

2. The 1212/115 in Felicity was also replaced with a T-128, being why you can't see it in the Satellite image, but you can see the T-128 if you look closely.
Resident of a county with big a mixture of sirens, but in the process of being replaced. :(

I know, I couldn't change it. My computer is being very laggy lately, and I'm lucky to have the map up in general. Also, the two hazard signs are a Banshee and a Fedelcode Model 5.

Huh? The only hazard signs I see are the 2 Milford sirens (1212/T-128 and P-127/T-128) and the Felicity 1212/T-128. :?

1) I won't make it to the Type A, since I'm going to Kentucky at 2:30, not 12:00.
2) Does anyone have a Google maps map of all the sirens in Clermont County?
3) (For Mustangv8) Was the New Richmond Monroe Twp. FD 115 replaced for better coverage, or was it close enough to Hamilton County for an upgrade?
4) There is a 40% chance of tornadoes tomorrow, so I'll be sure to record the sirens in Hamilton County going off if a Tornado Warning is issued.
Installed a P-127 in cemetary last fall in New Richmond, but it was for Peirce township.

The only 115 I'm aware of on 125 is on top of the BMOP fire station in Amelia.
