I'd say it's a Screamer S-2 missing the top cover.

I highly doubt that. The lower shroud closest to the chopper on a screamer is much lower then that.

Well, the last time this siren was brought up, the bolts on the top of the siren was a dead giveaway that it was possibly a screamer missing the top cover.

I have just picked up a WS darley & CO siren but there is not a model # on the tag it states type 7 and that it runs on 220v

Darley is essentially Federal, so it could be a Federal Model 7.

it could be a federal signal model b or sterling m-10 its about the right size

What could the motor horsepower be on that siren, whether it is a Model B or Sterling M-10?

I'm pretty sure the M-10 is 10 horsepower. Not sure about the Type B.
