To me, it looks like it was a vent for something underground, but the fact that it seems to actually be a siren and not a vent makes me a bit confused. I have no idea where the power would've been connected to it originally, or where the motor was, though. I found this location on some website that had the siren pictured. This location is #136(at least thought) in the LA system, on the interactive map, it says that hte location is missing, but this isn't far from it at all, the Cheveron station made it easy for me to find. But... I have no idea what it is. Where is where I found out about it..
