I actually believe this is a Denver. If you look at the inside, there is a thing at the end of the chopper, just like a Denver. Not to mention, the back motor cover looks like that of a Denver. I would say it is in fact a Denver.

EDIT: In the streetview you linked, theres a FS Model (insert letter here), its in the background. Seems to be a A/D/L.

Could it be both? The rotor of a denver mounted to the motor of an Allertor?

It's a Denver. That rotor design gives it away, and iv'e seen Denver sirens with that motor cover before. The shroud is a custom piece obviously.

Alright, anyone got a link to a thread with more information on them? I can't say I even have a Denver siren on the map before this.

Also are there specific Models for Denver sirens, or are they all the same?

My data sheets suggest the single head Type B was 2 horsepower however I didn't think they used the 2 horsepower motor for the dual head version.
The sirens in Ririe, Idaho and Cecil Township, Pennsylvania would have been made between 1922 and 1926. Here is a chart showing some different Type B profiles along with their approximate date of introduction. The last development was introduced in 1926 and was built until the mid 1930s, with some bearing the Fedelcode brand. Notice the projector shaped changed on different production models.

The siren in Riverton, NE looks like an old Denver with a barrel surrounding it. Their exact profile varied but some of them did have mailbox shaped motor covers

I'll say a Denver. Pan to the left one click then zoom down the barrel and note the A frame for the rotor shaft.

That is Federal signal 2001 ambiance recorded by an news network at a local park. For some reason they were zoomed in on a set of PA speakers for the baseball field. It seems news networks suck at identifying sirens.
