No dent, the fiberglass is very flexible in that part of the horn, and it merely conformed to the shape of the compression chamber in shipping. I unwrapped it and it went right back straight

Pretty light, top horn is probably 15-20lbs, bottom assembly is about 80-90lb

Well, look what showed up at my workplace! Will be bringing it home tommorow. Will be interesting to see how this fits on the MD stator plate!

Wow I bet this is got to look great on the MD stator plate! I can't wait to see what it looks like on the MD, are you also going to paint the horn red as well?

Yes. I will be painting it Regal Red like the rest of the siren. More than likely will just brush paint it, the the brush marks will not be visible due to the texture of the fiberglass. It will be much cheaper than buying 8 cans of spray paint!

Got the projector assembly mocked up in place. Not surprisingly, all of the mounting holes lined right up. I will have to cut out some notches in the intake horn for the bearing spider, as the Allertor does not have this. I also will have to extract the screws on the screen for the output horn, as they tried impact them out but they were seized in.

Other than these two minor items, it looks like it's 100% go to mount this on. Like I've said before, it isn't a perfect match, but it will do for now until I can get a sheet metal reproduction made of the original projector.

The horns like just a little bit different, but it will work still it looks the same a little bit can't wait to see this siren look complete soon!

Got the lower rotator belt covers all repaired. Replacment panel installed. I then fabricated a new rear mount
The original was a rusted and bent light tab. This new bracket is easily twice the strength of the old.
