On my way home today I took a different route than usual. The sun as usual prevented me from getting good shots, but I did get a good look at an Alertor finally!

Wow that’s a second generation single-head Type B. Not many of those left out there!

I wouldnt be surprised if it's still in use for time signalling, there is a 10v two bocks north of this unit. Kansas has a lot of gems floating around! Thank you for the identification, I'm not too hip on old horizontals!

Gordon Nebraskas three Thunderbolts were directly replaced by ASC T-112s, I'm unsure if the city has any other units besides the three in place already where the 'bolts once stood. This is behind City Hall where the 1003 once stood. Yours truly purchased the RCMs from this unit today, and I will write up a post about the siren replacements in a few days or so.

Nice 4M! I remember mapping this town on my Nebraska map I abandoned a long time ago.
