Nope, not unless you put in a higher speed motor to drive the cams. Even then I don't think that would quite work out the way you'd think, not to mention the total run time would also be drastically shortened as a result of the higher cam speed.

Alright, most likely will end up building my own timer than considering how I don't want to fork out $$$ for a FC.

Not true, there is no "lower volume" setting for electronic sirens. Closest thing to that would be a soft-start feature like some Mods/DSAs and Whelens utilize, but they still eventually hit their maximum volume. All they do is activate whatever signal they usually use for the test, and send out a cancel signal after so long to kill it early, if they don't test the full 3 or 5 minutes that their controller's timer circuit allows them to run.
Oh, well that's just what I heard (can't remember where). In this case, what Metro Siren Synths said about the 3016 having blown drivers is probably true.

It overloaded a different microphone, but on mine it was so quiet I could hear the Fedelcode model 5 clearly throughout the whole test, but it's only a 1/2 mile away.

Holy crap, not to be rude but this topic has gone no where near where I wanted it to. When I said the AHAB sirens, I was talking about the Modulators along and near the coast. They kinda look like this.
La Push
Neah Bay

I happen to also know a few other cities that have AHAB's on the coast.
Aberdeen
Hoquiam
Sequim
Port Angeles
Seiku
Westport
Ilwaco
There are also various seaside Sirens and more AHAB's along the oregon coast.

Question though: On unit 33, why does there appear to be 2 battery cabinets and 2 controller cabinets? Or if there are, why?
