There are 1212s at each of the 3 Selkirk NY's Firehouses. There is also one on the Brewster NY fire hall, next to a darley. And the T-128's location can be found on my map. It's right next to a dam, used to warn people of the nearby lowlands if the dam should ever burst. I actually heard that there's more than one siren installed, but I haven't found the other(s) yet. It seems like the T-128 would be more than enough to cover the area though.
But yeah, I was surprised when I first saw it. It's far and away the loudest known siren in my county.
