Many corrections/IDs have been added in Pennsylvania. (Thank you, TrainsAndSirens1!)

I'll have a new poll up Monday morning. (I hope...)

The beginnings of a Massachusetts map have been added. Still no poll due to continued real life insanity.

I've also added something I've been meaning to post for a little while now - a map of fictional siren systems I wish existed in eastern Virginia. Check the bottom of the first post.

Bonus addition: a new Surry 2906 on the Virginia map...the lowest NPP siren I can recall seeing.

A 2905 in Montvale and three Surry 2806s have been added to the New Jersey and Virginia maps, respectively.

Of note this update: Surry siren #06, which would be a worthy candidate for a "worst place to put a siren" award.

Bonus (again): a Hormann at UVa...that apparently plays a recording of a 3T22 in hi-lo wail, according to the university's website.

Yet another update in Virginia. Two Surry sirens (including another worst location award candidate) and a Darley Model 2 in Buena Vista have been added.

Why would an electronic siren use a recording of another siren? Think about it, that's just extremely redundant. You actually think that?

It really sounds like the 3T22 recording that used to be posted on the main ARS site for years and years. UVa probably just found that recording and posted it online as an example. The Hormann they have just probably sounds its own stock hi-lo signal.

Ask the San Francisco EMA why. After all, their ATIs play a recording of one of the STL-10s they replaced.

^ This, and the fact that JMU has the same system...and the same recording on their website. Eventually I'll get out to one or the other and record a test.

Several corrections/IDs have been added in New Jersey, courtesy of TrainsAndSirens1.

Coming soon: a large North Carolina update.
