I'm guessing the reason they are getting "stiff" is because they are tired of tons of people bombarding them for sirens and then not following through. How do I know? Because I used to do that when I was 13. Not pointing fingers at anybody, just putting two cents in.

That might have something to do with it. However, from a business point of view, price is largely determined by value and availability. This is difficult to determine since there is no set value of any particular used siren. With the "B" series Thunderbolt I can understand the prices for parts being higher since they aren't very abundant. However, with 90+ sirens in storage (the majority of which being "A" and "C" series Thunderbolts), I don't see where they are deriving their higher prices on the rest of their sirens. I would imagine they would need to clear out room for more inventory.

It really doesn't matter anyways since it's their business and they should run it the way they see fit. My $0.02.

Nice! I'm only 14 as of now, but do you think there will still be some T-bolts around when I have the space to get one? Cost probably won't be an issue, but I certainly don't want to get a ticket for it!

Wouldn't doubt it.

It might. Just because I got mine for this cheap doesn't mean all Thunderbolts are that cheap.

It's not illegal to buy it, but it's illegal to run it and raise panic. Then you can have charges pressed against you, and last I heard it wasn't cheap.

If you want a siren from WSS, fill up your piggy bank. WSS is your best bet if you want a siren soon, finding them elsewhere is tough.
