I'm really interested in seeing the Whelen panel it was connected with. Whelen RTUs are far and few between.

The box is gutted. The only thing in there are wires connected to a small transformer. The box has the Whelen logo on it, but no controls inside. Yes, im bumping a month old thread. You can bash me with a 2x4 later over it, but out of curiosity, are there any updates on this Calvin? This is actually very cool another user owns a gridfaced thunderbolt.

I am here with an update. As of now I have the siren head, rotator and chopper, and control panel box. The rotator works and I am able to move it by hand. The chopper spins as well. The control panel, however, is completely gutted out and only has some wires and connectors that look similar to Molex connectors and like things you'd see on a computer power supply. I am waiting for nicer weather to get the blower and pipe off the top of the building that the siren was on.

You should get the blower, if it isn't seized up. Besides, what's the point of having a Thunderbolt without the blower?
