The TBolt was still atop East High last time I was in town unless it has even removed since. Also Madison has always had the mix of Federal and ACA/ASC sirens for years and years. It's honestly just neat, regardless of te reason. And such a wide variety of models for each brand too!

Madison has had a weird but awesome mix. Pretty much they have every mechanical siren that Federal and ASC has on the market today. And they historically had the more rare breed of Allertor's (8/12), Thunderbolt's (Jailbar or 1000A series), Banshee's (110), Penetrator's (Perf+), Model 7's (some dual toned) and also 2T22's and SD-10's.

I would like to comfirm another replacement which my theory on this one was correct. Tyler Copeland showed me a picture of the a ASC T-121 on Beld Street which replaced a Federal Signal SD-10

Aaron Nepstad also confirmed that the last standing the Perf + Penetrator was replaced. Soon to be scrapped and destroyed I suppose. Such a shame, it was the last of its kind.

The demise of Dane County's Performance Plus Penetrators is unfortunate but at least we have plenty of photos, some advertisement blurbs, and a couple videos to remember them by. They were pretty neat sirens despite their setbacks.

Do you or Aaron know what that and the Perf+Penetrator were replaced by?
