Brendan is the Chicagoland siren expert, I wouldn't doubt him.

I know all! Don't question my authority!

Just kidding, in all seriousness I looked up past meeting minutes. In one they talked about p50 replacement. It's funny, they actually called them p50 sirens at the meeting. It doesn't look like they are in a big hurry to do it. The first one or at least one of the first ones was replaced sometime in 2008 or 2009. That siren is in a park not far from Fox Valley Mall. People on this board back then will remember this as the new siren that caught fire.

And the second one was near Waubonsie Valley High School. Right?

Not sure of the order they were replaced. Or if all of them are replaced now. I thought Aurora had a few p15s too, but I'm not sure.

They probably might've had it back in early 90s. Sorry I wasn't in Naperville until the late 90s so I'am not sure about that. The ACA P-50 siren first one second one was there in city of Aurora's Illinois siren lineup ever since the late 80s to early 90s. That part I'am sure of.

I remember the photo of the T-135 that went ablaze. I can't find the news article that went with it, but here is the photo.

That's crazy. Never saw a T-135 AC/DC siren catching fire. It was probably a malfunction in the electric motor or something inside the siren housing. Was this the one you were talking about Brandon? And by the way Super Banshee where did you got the photo from? Just asking that's all.
