Here is a picture of one of the few (if not only) ACA Screamer 105's in existance. This picture was taken from a thread from about 8 months ago.

I've always been confused as to why the rotor/stator assembly of the Screamer series has always been under the louvers, instead of between the two.

Oh damn, that is practically a little slice of heaven. A rare siren and all of the traffic lights you could ever want. If only it had pole pigs and street lights. :P

The guy actually does traffic signal/electrical work (as well as being the fire chief of the department). If by a pig pole you mean a transformer with 2 poles sticking out of the top..... than I probably shouldn't tell you where this is LOL!! There is a whole other lot to right of this photograph that was filled with nothing but old streetlights and there were probably a good 10 pallets with pig poles on them. I am not really into them and thus didn't think to photograph them. This lot is located in Exeter, Pa in the northern coal country of this fine state.

But i am! HeHe, I have been into traffic lights, and mercury vapor lights and various other things over the years. Thanks for the location of it's whereabouts because I'm really interested in buying about 4 of those traffic lights from there. Not to mention that a traffic light runs about 2,000$ brand new. :?

I find old streetlights in antique shops all the time for around $120. I saw a few at the Carlisle car show last year, but I would not buy one because I am a siren guy.

Where exactly is the rotor on that siren? On the brochure, it is a small one inside the louvres, and on this photo, there's a power conduit running to somewhere under the top cap.

That Sentry 95 looks very much like one of those old East German industrial sirens with round ports.

If you are referring to the picture then I would have too say the rotor is under the screened area. You can see the fluting peeking out from under the bottom louver.

It looks as if both the motor and the intake are in the area surrounded by the mesh, so the motor might actually be placed by the intake!
