The 855/960 hertz tone would probably sound scary with an electronic siren, especially an ATI siren.

Our city town things eas is very freaky the screen goes all fuzzy and stuff then a kind of fast wail siren comes on then it says "this is a tornado warning for _Putnam County_ seek shelter" and about 5 seconds later it says "Do not look for the funnel seek shelter" and all of this is in voice and text for deaf and blind.When i was in 1st grade a was reading a little book when it went off i happed to pee myself

Thats the tone!
I've been looking for a sound similar to the Canadian EBS from the Cold War.
There was always a weekly bomb test on the TV until about 1995 here in Canada.
