If it is for site-specific signaling, those are enough, though they look powerful for warning of public.

Sure they do. If they're for outdoor warnings, they're suited for this thread.

My great uncle would agree with me.

When the PRR went from Steam Locomotives to Deisel, he said some engineers quit. One engineer complained that if he had wanted to drive a car he would not have become a steam locomotive engineer.

I feel the same about electronic counterfeits.
EXCEPT that electronic vehicle sirens are better than real electromechanical sirens.
