Cincinnati Metropolitan Area Sirens

I saw another new siren at CVG today. There's now an Eclipse 8 on top of the parking garage! I saw this when dropping off some departing family members in the departures area.

On the way down, I think I noticed that the SD-10 on top of a vacant building along I-75 between Paddock Road and Ronald Reagan Highway has been removed or disappeared. For some reason, I thought there wasn't any access to the property.

Tomorrow is siren test day in Hamilton County and they will be tested as "ALL CALL" so keep your ears open and if you see one not working let me know. Thanks Guys

What exactly does “ all call” mean?

By the way, for those who didn’t hear, Butler County’s sirens accidentally went off at 5:45am Monday morning.

"All Call" basically means that all of the sirens on the system will be set off together, instead of individually by site or zone.

As for the Butler county fiasco, that's funny. I had just been looking at some of their sirens on streetview.

Sirens tested today by all call and then between 1:00 and 1:30 a growl will be done for maintenance purposes

I’m currently working up in Mason, next to the 2001 visible from I-71 across from Kings Island. It worked perfectly. It seems like for a while, this one may have either been not sounding or not rotating, as it was pointed west for quite a while, and then northeast for quite a while.

I ended up getting a really good ambiance recording from my house today. In addition to a couple of Hamilton's T-128's, I was able to hear several Thunderbolt's from Clermont county and a dual tone P-10 on top of the Union twp. fire departnemt, and a Werden P-127. For a year now I've been able to pick out what I believe to be a Thunderbolt on chopper level 7, but I can't figure out where it is. My best guess is that it's the one on top of Clough Pike Elementary.

If you watch the video of this news story from Wednesday about Rainbow Child Care in Amelia from WCPO, there are shots of the outside of the building taken during siren test time. A 9/12 port siren can be heard at 1:55 and 3:15 in the video. Is that an SD-10? P-15?
