Hello guys, here is something I have wanted to share for a good while now. This is a Gents of Leicester Type 1472 (Tri-Tone) and it’s located at Kingmoor Park, Carlise. It’s completely inactive with no power to it but before you think about enquiring this please read the rest of this paragraph. A good friend Civil Defence Fox here has told me he asked the security about the siren. Security said the siren is inactive and that it won’t be going anywhere any time soon. They said they had 10+ enquiry emails for the siren which they are completely ignoring on purpose. My friend did try enquiring this and they haven’t emailed back and this was about a year ago. So unfortunately it won’t be going anywhere and will be left to rot. I wanted to keep this quiet but I thought since it’s just going to rot away and stay up there, I would share it with you guys. BIG FIND! I found an Air Raid Siren (not sure of its make) in Scalloway!

There's a small siren beside it, a Carter or Klaxon of some kind too! Nice find!

Unfortunately those CS8s aren’t tested. It’s tested through the PA system now. It’s such a pity cause I have known about that system for nearly a year now and found all 9 CS8s in the one day! I was so excited to hear that ambience of them but just heard a distant PA speaker
