cool! do you possibly have an address or street view coordinates? I know the siren has probably been long removed.

Here's a two for one, first is a picture of the Montataire city hall with their Constructions Électriques du Nord "Gearbox Mk1" siren peeking up..

The 2nd picture is a brochure for the so-called PTR sirens. As a little fun fact, PTR merged with another company (Constructions Électro-Mécaniques, or "CEM") in 1956 to form PETERCEM which still exists to this day (however they do not make sirens anymore):

Came across this while browsing vintageaerials.com. A Whelen WS-2000R and a Model 2 (behind the belfry). Ironically the Whelen is gone and the presumably much older Model 2 is still there. Rocks Village, MA in 1986.
it is, i can check if you want, it's only an hour out, perfect for a Sunday.

Here are six 'vintage' siren photos that I have found over time...

The first one is from Passaic, New Jersey with one of their gas-powered B&N Mobil Directo. This unit was removed.

The second one is of Jersey City with one of their gas-powered B&N Mobil Directo. This unit was removed.

The third one is a photo of the Wildwood Crest Fire Department in Wildwood Crest NJ in the 1930s on a postcard. The siren resembles a Champion, Little Giant, or a FE Model B. This siren was replaced with a Model 7 that is still there today.

The fourth photo is of a Federal Electric Model B on top of the Greenwood Forest Fire Department in West Milford, New Jersey. This would be replaced with an STL-10 which is still there today.

The fifth photo is of a Fedelcode Model 5 or 7 at the West Windsor Township Fire Department in West Windsor Township, New Jersey. This siren would unfortunately be removed in the '90s.

The sixth one is of a Federal Signal Model 7 for the Hibernia Fire Department in Rockaway Township, New Jersey that was taken in the 2000s. The mount is now completely different.

**I do not take credit for any of these photos I only found them and documented them. Whoever took them has full credit. **

Model 2 on the water tower in Harmon, Illinois, circa June 1984. The BN branch through Harmon was torn out the following year, siren is still there.
