I couldn’t help but notice that Edinburgh’s ex-siren locations haven’t yet been added to the map, despite the fact it has been updated twice since I posted them here. Will they be added in-future?

There was once a siren located at Lane Ends Roundabout in Whitby, specifically at 54.47987303127951, -0.6341953275643788. No trace of the siren remains.

Awesome stuff!

Did you hear back from Sullom Voe or Chapelcross?
Update on Sullom Voe, I managed to find an email address for them. I've contacted them asking about the test times, hopefully we can expect a response soon.

After an email conversation with Longleat guest services, I can confirm that the park fire siren is sounded every Friday at 9:30AM before the park opens publicly. I've also requested an image of the siren to confirm its make and model.

Another interesting point to note is that I also asked whether it would be possible to see the siren up-close, and after consulting her colleagues the person I spoke with said that it MAY be possible if you have signed up for a Guided House Tour and there is a Heritage staff member available on the day. It cannot be guaranteed but she said that the staff may let you see it if you ask. Anyway, I've attached an image of the email for you to interpret yourself.

52.6767167, -2.7520849 siren found by user in Siren Enthusiasts Facebook group.

I think these are called Klaxon CS3s, but I'm not 100% sure.

I was the person who found that!! I seem to remember the 360 photo is from quite a few years ago now, so who knows if it’s still active or even still there. The quarry it is in is still active though, so I would think there is still some sort of warning device, even if it isn’t that CS3.

Would adding the location of the ex former RAF Colerne Gents' Tritone owned by riggerparish be considered?
Enjoyer of ACA and ASC. I like pretty much anything that isn't an ATI or high-pitched mini siren.

Aurorium Workington has a Klaxon ES of some kind. Its exact location is unknown, but it is somewhere centrally on-site. I have walked around the premises and I couldn't see anything, but I was doing so quite briskly so I may have missed it.

The YouTube video of the siren test will be public tomorrow.

The siren sounds on the 1st of every month, however if the 1st falls on a weekend it is instead tested the following Monday.

Also, whoever's in charge of the UK Siren Map at the moment has marked all of the sirens at Ellesmere Port as Klaxon ES sirens. It only takes one look at them to notice that they differ greatly from the ES design and are clearly NOT ES sirens.
