I sad... but glad I taped it when i did :)
Well that's too bad if it is gone. When you get the chance, you should get a better look.
I would doubt that it was moved to a different location. Maybe you should try looking around the area and see if there's a replacement.

Well, to Clayton's knowledge, it's still behind the fire station. He says that each community owns the sirens and they could remove it without anyones knowledge. It's possible that they had someobody else remove it. Hmm, if Delhi is going to replace it(unless they already have), it sounds like the replacement might not be an ASC siren.

I was out today in western Hamilton County on a siren scouting trip. I took about 24 pics. I'll post a few of them and you'll be able to scroll through the rest of them.

It seems that this part of the county seems to like 2001s there are 5 in that area. Most of them seem fairly new. 3 in Addyston(City of Cincinnati)1 in Green Township and 1 in Miami township.
Andy did'nt you say that there is a Federal Signal dealer here in Cincy also? I don't think Green township is completely committed to ASC being that they have a 2001 in Kuliga park and 2 T-128s on Harrison Av.

Just a thought. I could'nt say for sure.

1. Addyston is their own municipality, and yes, they have 3 2001s.
2. Where is there a 2001 in Miami Twp? Did you mean to say Delhi? There's a 2001 on top of Mt. St. Joe's.
3. Jason, I think that guy I found that said he installed 2001s is actually lying. He said something about replacing the P-10/15 near Lunken about 3 or 4 months before city council member Laketa Cole had a concern on the city's sirens and wanted to install battery backup sirens.
4. I wonder if Green Twp was able to get a better deal from Federal on a 2001 at the time they had it installed. It was installed before the T-128s in the township were.

There is one one Bridgetown Rd. Cleves Miami Township. There used to be a phone line from it to the STL-10 in downtown Cleves. That 2001 also activated the STL-10 until just recently.
It is on E State Rd. SR 264 and LaurelWood Dr.
There is also a siren on the HCEMA map in North Bend do you know where that one is ?

That 2001 seems to be in Cleves more than Miami Twp.
Jason, North Bend has an SD-10 located next to St. Joseph Church (25 E Harrison), but it's hidden in the trees. It's a bit hard to see on Birds Eye.

Thanks Andy. If i'm not mistaken I think Addyston and Northbend were annexed by the City of Cincinnati a few years back due to both communities having money problems. Annexed means that they are still their own municipal system but is controled by and considered Cincinnati. Don't quote me on that I need to research it. I remember hearing that on the news a few years back.

The STH-10 is working fine, although it never did growl. I was filming, and when it was about 2 minutes after noon, I turned my camera off, and then a few seconds after, it goes off!
