Doubt it's a vent. It wouldn't make much sense to direct exhaust in a single direction like that.

It looks like a vent to me... and there are expelling points in every direction, not just one.

Only way to know for sure would be to ask people inside the building.

I think this is a Model 5T, but the thing the top piece is mounted on is not federal signal like... I originally thought this was a darley 3V8, but they aren't dual tone.

That's a Darley 3V8. It's not dual tone

I’m thinking it’s a 3V8? It looks like one. However, (chances are low) it could be an Erick.

I originally thought that too, but as I said, it's dual tone. I think Erick made single tone sirens, so it might be a decot proto (probably not). it looked like it had a weird port ratio, like 6/10 or something. Also, the legs on the siren are not Federal, so I'm genuinely confused here.

It definitely looks single-tone to me, as far as I can tell. I see one row of ports and an intake opening above that. I'm 95% sure that's a typical old Sterling/Darley 3V8.
