right, but that's of the siren head and rotator. I can't see the photos, but it sounds like he's saying the standpipe was somehow holding up the entire thing, blower assembly and all.

I wouldn't be surprised if it could hold up the entire siren. That pipe's metal is real thick.

got it. that's impressive. I'm assuming the standpipe is schedule 40 steel, if so a 1/4" wall thickness should be pretty damn strong.

That is what I was talking about, I know that pipe is heavy duty, but so is that blower!
