Given the fact that it is in Creve Couer, and that to be on some sort of pump or lift station means it's probably owned by the city. Just give the city clerk a call and ask about the siren on the corner of Velde Street and Rusche Lane and she'll direct you to someone who may know more about it.

If you could find an email of someone who works for the city, you could try send them an email.

This is EXTREMELY true, however, I have (again) a cold, and therefore will have to wait a while. This winter has overstayed its welcome; it needs to leave.

Ok, so I called them yesterday, Sunday, and left a message for the City Clerk, which gives them time to listen to the message, and attempt to find something. In other words, it lessens the pressure on them, so they don't feel they need to find something right then and there. I really hope they respond some this week. What if they don't?

Call them on a business day (M-F) between 8am and 5pm. You're guaranteed an answer if you call them then. I would wait until Wednesday or so and follow up.

Ok, so I tried the City Clerk, and nobody has answered at all. I've called yesterday, and today, as well as Sunday. Does anyone know what else I should/could do?

Have you tried to send an e-mail? That usually works for me.
