Same. It leads me to think that the one that has horns going into the back may have been an early model?

I'd like to add that I think the yellow 408 was in Belleville, IL, but has since been replaced by a Whelen according to Street view:

Technically it was in Swansea based on that logo on the street sign, but yes. The 408 was at the corner of Smelting Works & Fullerton Roads, and as of June 2013 (latest street view imagery) the old pole that the siren was mounted on is still there as seen here.
