I know of three here in St. Clair county, in the O'Fallon area. One is next to the O'Fallon high school, which there is a video of on Youtube. Another is at the intersection of N. Smiley street and E. Wesley drive, and a third is in the vicinity of Garden Ridge. At first, I saw the third one on the way to Indiana for vacation and I mistook it for an Allertor, so when I got back, I searched the hell out of that area and found a Thunderbolt.

Just an update to my previous post... That is indeed a Thunderbolt behind the city building in Wilder. I drove by it last night as it's fairly close to where I work (about 10 minutes away). By far one of the nicest looking T-bolts I've seen in this area.

I'll have to find a way to get down there and photograph it soon. According to Wilder's website, that building has been there less than 10 years (groundbreaking was in December 1998, and the "grand opening" of sorts was in August of 2000), so I'm wondering if that siren was transplanted from somewhere else in the county.

Where's the Thunderbeam at? I didn't know we had any of those around here either (I found out about that Sterling last week).

I'm constantly amazed at the large variety of sirens in this area.
