Yeah it's an Allertor. Ed Wise rebuilt that siren for them.

Either me or my crew might head down there and try to get a test of the allertor and maybe the STH-10. It's just hard at the moment to record sirens on the west coast just because of the rain and in some cases the long distance. Last i heard there was also an allertor that sat dormant up in the Trojan nuclear power plant area and Lincoln city, OR tried to get it but they couldn't figure out how to get it down. I honestly think i might have seen it once as a young kid when we visited the plant... You know before they tore it down... But i couldn't tell you if it is still there or even where too look... Daniel would know more about that part of it than I would.

The one in Philomont, Virginia is an active fire siren. Did you know of that one?

Galesburg,il has some. I'm not sure they are exclusive to the city or they have other allertors elsewhere in Knox county p.
