Here's a fairly low STH-10 near Kings Mountain, NC.

Well, that van must be pretty tall. You can see it's slightly taller than the bus next to it. You can also compare it to the door it's next to. It's still very low considering that it's vents point down.

It's just a little bit taller than me if you compare it to the door next to it. I was surprised to see that low thing. It's not that much taller than the fire department next to it.

Just a little bit? Are you 8 feet tall or something? Either that or the door is less than 4 feet tall, or that bus is tiny.
A resident of arguably the most siren-diverse county in history.

No, I'm not 8 feet tall. I meant that I would be compared to the door. That bus is not tiny. That model 7 is really low. and the door is not tiny, it is a normal sized door. The model 7 is quite taller than me but I meant that it wasn't a huge amount taller than me. I am not as tall as the siren head or even close to the vents.

It is definitely pushing it. How is that thing supposed to get the coverage out when it's that low? Sure does give an idea of how big they are since you'd be right next to it.
If you look at the top of the pole, it kinda looks like it's snapped. but don,t take my word for it.
is that an EOWS 612?
