Not that it matters much, but what's the decibel rating of a Federal Model A? I have 2 of those, and right on top of them, they are loud, but not as loud as the Model 2's for sure!!

^Thanks! But now I'm wondering, how come none of them look like the one in the picture that dilloncarpenter posted?
Haven't added much recently. I'd like to get ratings for older sirens, such as Sterlings, Decots, etc. I can't find anything on them anywhere though.

I wonder if CTI got in any legal trouble with ASC based on design.
After all, the SMR15 looks a lot like a P10/P15, and the SMO15 looks like a Banshee or Screamer (I forget which is which).

If CTI was a newcomer to the siren business and introduced those after ASC quit advertising the Penetrators and Banshees, I don't think they would've got any trouble for it.

ASC copyrights (or patents) siren designs, correct? It's still their design even if they don't manufacture it any more.

There's an SMR 15 in Bixby at Memorial and 171st. This one also doesn't look to be very big.

Now i am wondering, just how many DB's does the Mini-Thunderbolt put out?
And is it's sound out put, in scale to it's scale compared to the full sized thunderbolt?
