I know Marysville, OH, is looking to expand its current system of 2001's so hopefully there might be a few of these making an appearance!
It's about time FS added a more powerful siren to its lineup.

Also, looks like they
cancelled the Friday 25th May test, due to a funeral.

Wow, this thing actually doesn't look too bad! It is kinda funny looking, (looks like an eyeball) but hey, its the sound that makes the difference, right? I don't think siren beauty contests exist! Anyways, sorry for the misfortune, KDK, and you have to hand it to the OEM for being so respectful to the funeral procession. Although, I went to one a few years ago that had a five alarm fire 4 buildings down the road while the eulogy was being given

They had to evacuate the building. Afterwards, everyone was saying that the person whose funeral we were at would have done something like that to get our attention
But I digress...I certainly hope we can get to hear it soon. Looks like it will be interesting!

You know, with the lack of a bottom intake I don't see why they couldn't just incorporate the rotation mechanism into the motor-box.

I know they dont really need too but, when is ASC going to come out with a new siren as well? Seems like they're doing pretty well with what they have got. It would still be nice.

lol Doubt that's going to happen anytime soon! The T-128 has served well for over a decade and a half now and their good ol' T-135 has a sensible successor. I wouldn't mind if they brought the Quadrant back, though.

I hope there is a screen across that intake. It would make a very effective bird processor.
During the funeral procession of the man who had been our fire chief for forty years, they blew every siren they could get their hands on.

It has a screen that goes over the entire opening of the projector. You can barely see it in this picture but you can see where it is held in place.

OH okay I see it now. It was kinda hard to pick out. Maybe even the birds won't see it...there will be birds bouncing off of it all day long
