The Siren Board

Overton NE's XT22 has been recently replaced. 2001-130 went in. Buffalo and hall counties are Nebraska's "Older Federal Land" but many of the XT22s and 'Bolts have been replaced over the last decade.

Johnson, Nebraska near where the HOR is listed has undocumented eclipse and 1003

I am currently unsure of how updated the map is of the Cooper NGS system is on this map, but I do have a few locations to provide for it thanks to a handy NRC document.

Firstly, there are 6 Whelen 2020 sirens in Indian Cave State Park, scattered throughout the park.

Secondly, there are sirens along the river, plus I have located the siren in Brownville.

A little bit of history, those 2020s are either original or replaced Whelen 2500 series sirens. The siren in Brownville is likely a 2800 series siren (and is original), the 2900 Series sirens in Peru, Nemaha, and I think Shubert likely replaced a tbolt, the 2900 just south of CNS likely replaced a Penetrator, and the 3016 at the boat ramp just east of Peru is likely original.

After 2 years of hunting, mapping, and raging at Google Maps when it didn't save the .KMZ file, the Nebraska Statewide Map is finally complete enough to be released. A huge thanks to ARS member Missouri1000Tfan for helping me reorganize and for adding a ton of locations. Unfortunately, there are many towns in Nebraska that have limited or no Streetview, so I will have to make field visits to a large number of towns across the state.
