FYI Upson county is getting 4 more refurbished thunderbolts this year.

The Georgetown thunderbolt 1000T that trocks797 recorded has recently Brocken down I'm still waiting to see if the Georgetown ema will let me have it however they told me if I'm approved its just for me to have and look at and if I ever in the future have it fixed and back in working condition than it will become part of Georgetowns property and will most likely be put back in service. I don't know what the replacement siren is for the thunderbolt but obviously it's probably just going to be another 2001

Do you have all of those in your rebuild stock supply already? I'm still thinking about letting go of that 1003.FYI Upson county is getting 4 more refurbished thunderbolts this year.

Wichita, KS still has quite a bit of thunderbolts and still uses them along with many 130s. They honestly don't care about being up to date, and they wait til the sirens break before replacing them. Even for a clean college town, they don't seem too crazy about replacing the old sirens which is cool!

Both in Cynthiana. One at a water tower northwest of town, the other at the high school.

Also, Jefferson County is beginning to replace the older sirens, or at least the Thunderbolts and other old rotating sirens, IIRC.
