Honestly, I have heard conflicting information as to if it was an actual thing or not. I was told by a couple of guys at federal (Yes, I contacted them on the matter, one of the guys I spoke to had worked there continuously since the late 1960s or early 1970s) that it was a contemplation that never went anywhere. Until I find out whether it did or did not solidly, it has no relevance to my map. They did tell me though that the last production Thunderbolts went to Canton, MI (unfortunately replaced ten years ago with 128s)

I think all of the canton tbolts were late production 1003s

But i dont think they had the last production 1000's. This makes the last thunderbolt 1000's the least known and rare thunderbolt and possibly one of the rarest if not THE rarest siren since no one has a picture of one.

Yes, the Canton sirens were 1990 dated 1003s.

I found a very late thunderbolt from probably the late to mid 80's, judging by its condition.
