If you were to pick a custom port ratio for the T-bolt...

What would it be?
We all know that the T-bolt has a buzz like sound to it.
Now, my picks would result in a redesign of the head (larger stator, chopper, and wider motor housing (using a 3 to 5 hp motor) but the length of the horn will remain the same. So, here are my picks of the litter...
Port ratio 9/12 (perfect 4th). It would probably sound like a mean, Pi**ed off SD10 or 500T. The length of the horn would also accent the lower resultant tone.
Port ratio 7/10 (flatted 5th): now that would sound scary, especially with the T-bolt's buzzy sounding signal. Guaranteed to give nightmares to anyone nearby when it sounds.

Port ratio 8/12 (perfect 5th): probably sound like a buzzy P-50 / T-135. Again, the length of the projector horn would accent the low resultant tone. It should carry a long ways.

So, pick out a custom ratio and tell all... :)

A port-ratio of a nine- and a ten-port row on the rotor. If you can't imagine the sound, let me tell you that it is one of the most frightening sounds that I have heard.

I lean towards the perfect fourth.

9/12 or 7/10.

If custom, 10/12 like a small pissed off 2T22. :P

I can imagine what that 10/12 would sound like...the glassport thunderbolt with about 400VAC going through it!! :P
If I had to pick a port ratio, it'd have to be 9/12. But If I wanted something really cool, I'd have a 4 port rotor, with the tap set to port-1, and I'd keep the blower on through the whole wind down!
