Cool, I really like the Penetrator 15, that's what our town has, either that or a P-10.

Hey, Joe, do you have a picture of your [former] Allertronic?

I think that you have a Darley STH-10 in your avatar.

By the way, I would start with the STL-10, as it looks like the easiest siren to restore, in my opinion.

It is a Darley, but I believe the insides are a Model 5. There is one of these in Harrisburg, Oregon, and when the chief tested it (just because I asked him about it!) it wound up like a Model 5; much faster than an STH-10. I could be wrong, though, but whatever is in there has 12 ports, not 8.

STL is done waiting for the horns to be straighten out The P-15 waiting for the gear box The bolt is done the 2T22 is done The decot is done. The Y-5 needs shrouds. The Bolt is a 4/5 dual tone single phase.

What is the difference between a Sterling Y-5 and an M-5? Is it dual tone?
Do you know which model this one is (Roseburg, Oregon FD)?

A Sterling Y-5 was a M-5 with a Motor Brake on it. They were Dual tone 8/16 My Y-5 has the Brakes gone. It is from 1930 And Came from Hartford WI. I have a M-5 From 1922 But it is apart we are trying to get the rotors off to change the sleave bearings on it. It came from Spring Green WI
