That first one is a Darley 2V8 in case you are wondering. (Just found one a month ago in Paris.) Oh, and that silver Model 2 isn't a Fedelcode, Fedelcodes have the middle louver/roof towards the top, like this:

You were in my home territory there. The Fall River Mills siren still sounds at noon, and there were three large air horns on the water tanks southwest of town. Crescent City also has a fixed-direction 9/12 Allertor on the roof of a city building, with the hornless chopper of a Thunderbolt on the next building over. Alturas has three air horns at the fire station and, I believe, a Model 5 at the city hall.
Other nearby attractions include air horn installations in Redding, Enterprise, Dunsmuir (with three Model 2's), McCloud (with a Little Giant), and Mount Shasta; diaphones in Burney, Weaverville, Greenville, and Williams; and various sirens in other towns including an SD-10 in the tiny village of Tennant.

Thanks for the info Daniel, we didn't go through Dusnsmir this time, but I will have to keep a look out for the model 2s. Ceaderville's VFD had 2 air horns also. I was searching through the forums, and I saw the post about the ACA Allertor and the hornless Thunderbolt, but I did not see them, unfortunately. We drove through Tennat, but I must missed their SD-10.

Dunsmuir tests their horns and sirens daily at noon. The three horns are at the fire station and the Model 2's are at the cemetery, Babe Ruth Field, and on Isgrigg Street.
McCloud's horns are on the fire station and when triggered, they blow continuously until they run out of air. The Little Giant is on a shop building and is not in use. Mt. Shasta's ten air horns work but are rarely tested, and the two three-horn boosters are long gone. Tennant's SD-10 is right there behind their garage-sized city hall. Dorris, Yreka, and Montague have STH-10's, and Yreka also has two Model 2's. Ashland uses the Model 2 for a street clearer (their old Fedelcode Model 7 with damper is in the city yards) and they have four Modulators for flood warning.

There are (or were) air horns on the hose tower of the old main fire station downtown and also in Enterprise. Also there is a Bullard siren up in Summit City, an STH-10 in Central Valley, and a Sterling M-5 in Pine Grove.

Make any progress on the buell horns from portlands system? And why do I seem to recall a diaphone on mount tabor?
