Damaged T-135AC

Hello all.

It has been a ver long time since I've posted anything on this board, but I thought everyone might find this interesting.

The T-135 I recorded way back in 2002 in Memphis, TN has been damaged. I noticed the last time I visited Memphis that the siren had a gaping hole in the outer section of the horn. Upon arriving in Memphis yesterday, I immediately noticed the city had removed the outer section of the horn entirely. I snapped a few photos.





I might email Memphis EMA to see what's up.

Now that half of the horn has been removed, I wonder about the effects it has on the T-135's volume.

I bet the intake cone is now level with the projector.

It had to have been a pretty recent thing, because Google Map's looks more recently updated, within the past year or so.

Look at the shadow of the horn. You can see the hole!

Yeah, when I was here back in October, the full siren was intact.

Yes, this is very recent. I drove by this siren about two months ago, and the siren was perfectly fine.
