Several new 2910s are popping up around Tulsa now... does anyone know if they're doing full replacement now, or are they just putting up new ones as 3016s quit, or what?

There was a story on Channel 8 about a month ago saying the city was starting to replace the first batch of the original 60 on the 1986 system, and I have seen only one that I know of so far (at the FD on Edison, west of Denver). I noticed the old siren pole is still there, but the head is now gone.
I'll keep my eyes peeled for more as I go around town.
BTW here's the link to the Channel 8 story:

The 56th and Mingo 3016 has been removed. 2910 already installed. That's 4 now that I've seen.

Another update:
I went out to see a new 2910 at 61st & Hudson, and the siren sounded perfectly. There was a bit of a warble on the windup, but it works just fine. I'm guessing Tulsa won't be doing voice, because I waited for a while, and no voice. They went with good sirens, nice and powerful. I'm kind of glad to see the 3016s go. New system looks promising.

Tulsa Update: Drove by Lee School at 21st/Cincinnati today - the 3016 that was at the NE corner of the school is gone, and I don't see a replacement in the area. I could see and hear that one from my building at 15th & Main, but hadn't noticed it being gone until I drove by today. Have to wonder if they moved its replacement closer to River Parks to the west or towards Woodward Park to the east.
I'd go hunt for it this weekend, but I'm working on a house rebuild for a non-profit and my car isn't liking the sudden burst of heat Mother Nature gave us this week. (I think the radiator fan is on the fritz.)
Anyone have some winning lottery tix to share?

Finally got to do some driving around in Tulsa this weekend, and was only able to find one new 2910 - behind the fire station at 36th & Lewis.
Also - I mentioned the "missing" 3016 at Lee School... well, I found it. It was not visible to me during my last report.
Car's still acting up - because the radiator fan's dead. Because of this, I can't drive around in traffic while running my A/C or hope I don't get bogged down in a traffic jam on a hot day. Although May's been dry for the most part, it's also been relatively comfortable temperature wise until just before the holiday. Makes for nice drives into work down by the river in the mornings. I'll get it fixed this week. Just what I want to do with my bonus money from work.

When I was staying at Shadow Mountain, my doctor took me outside to listen to the test and I remember hearing all 2910's with a very far off 3016 or two. We were on a hill so we were about level with the siren and that thing was loud. I also saw a 2906 or 7 somewhere south of 81st St, between 49th E and Sheridan.

I need to go around that area. Furthest I've been was a 2910 at TCC. Where I'm at, all I hear is 3016s. I hope the one across from my house gets replaced soon. I might go to 81st and Sheridan area today to find the 2900 in there.

Oh, thanks. I wonder what the old one was; it didn't look like a 3016. Is it possibly the school's siren or Tulsa's?
