Another Insteresting Federal Creation

Mon May 21, 2012 11:41 pm

So I haven't seen anything on the Federal Signal Equinox since we discovered that a while back. Today, I happened upon this...

Perhaps this takes its place since it has a higher rated output? I'm not sure what to think.

Interesting design for the shroud and the cone(? (if there is one on this)) of this siren.

On first glance, I almost thought it was an ACA design.

If you click the 2nd link, you will see that they claim it produces only 128 decibels, so I doubt that.

Travis just called me on it. Usually the EOC lets us know when a new one is going in. Guess where I'll be this Friday at 11:30 AM! Hopefully they will let us know what happened to the 2T22 that was there. Last I heard they were going to take it and have it repaired as the motor kicked the bucket and put it up where the AL4000 that sounds bad is. Will be driving by there tomorrow too. Stay tuned.
