The 'permanent' CTI thread

Sat Jun 02, 2012 3:10 am

Ok, for all you CTI curiosities out there, I decided to make a permanent thread about them. Maybe we could get this stickied? (longshot, but hey, never know until you ask.)

There are only three CTI sirens known to exist. I will provide street view links for all of them. But first, here are all the info and pics I have of them.

CTI came out with three models, the StormMaster SMR-15, SMO-15, and the omnidirectional one we don't know the name of. There are pictures of all three of them.

Post any info you have on these things, and please PLEASE, if you have locations, add them to the list. Thanks!

The sirens are, but the company itself I think went out of business awhile ago. Notice at the top of the ad it says "a division of Compliance Technologies". I did a Google search on that and found several different things for it, I can't tell which is ours.

I Think the Bixby SMR-15 May be a P-10 or P-15 beacause it has ASC control panels and battery backup, but maybe that system just uses ASC control boxes...

Oddly enough, Compliance Technologies is an auto part supplier!

Is it just me or is that SMR15 positioned on wooden logs?

It only has ASC controls. Look at the back of the siren head.

That thing is WAY too small to be a P-10/15. And I'm pretty sure all of Bixby's sirens have ASC controls.

Found the CTI that kswx29 told us about that I couldn't find before.

That makes three known CTI omni's.
