I Plan to record the Milwaukee Hurricane in a few weeks too.

I'm going to record it on June 13th, with a camera under the pole, a camcorder on a tripod, and another camera from my car. It's the first stop on my "Siren Trip".

I wasn't under the pole, I was sitting in the white Ford Edge, with my tripod next to it. It was really loud!
