It is rumored there is a Thunderbolt on a building SOMEWHERE on Courtland street near I-75. I have searched the area, but I have not seen anything that looks like a Thunderbolt.
I was mainly searching here:

I was thinking the T-bolt could be on an abandoned building of sorts in the area. Does anyone know anything about this supposed thunderbolt location?

No, that's a different one. The one I am talking about is supposedly a Thunderbolt mounted on a small white building in the bing maps link. I've seen the Richard B. Russel Tbolt before.
Here is a Photo I took of it in June.

Sorry to bump my own topic again, but I found A photo of Atlanta ca. 1974 that shows an old siren.
Unknown building, Gas-powered MD mounted on corner
Credit for the photo goes to the original owner.
EDIT:
I found a photo taken in 1988 that shows a Thunderbolt in the Little 5 Points part of Atlanta

Thanks man! It's nice to at least see a photo of one of Atlanta's gas powered MD's.
Oh, and BTW, those sirens were powered by a 25 horsepower air cooled engine.
It sucks that they are all gone now.

I think that sign on the MD buidling says Fiat Allis, which is a former heavy equipment company. My grandpa had a Fiat Allis dozer in the 70's.

I believe it says "HIGHLANDS" My mom lived in Atlanta her whole life, and she said it looked similar to that building. She even told me about hearing that MD go off in 1970, she said "It was louder than the Railyard".

I think it was from the I-85/I-75 area.
