I would agree. Love the sound!
Resident of a county with big a mixture of sirens, but in the process of being replaced. :(

Very nice, although I like the T-121 better. Glad they have a nice, reliable system now.

I like it, I think Charlie should go out and record one of the 508's.

Where was this Eclipse?

It certainly sounds a LOT better than the ATIs.

Didn't know there was a tornado warning in Davidson County today. I work in Brentwood(Wiliamson County); that city didn't sound its sirens and we weren't made to move to lowest floor at work.

That sound will certainly catch one's attention better than the ATI!

Talk about a huge upgrade... Eclipses sound awesome. That weird undertone just makes them sound that much cooler.
What happened when Napoleon went to Mt. Olive? Popeye got pissed.

This shows how an omnidirectional siren gives a much clearer attack signal than a rotating siren.

I know that ASC was one of the contenders when the siren project was initiated years ago.

One evening there was a clip about the proposal on TV news. ASC had brought a T-121 to one of the city parks for a demo. News clip showed it being revved up to full speed then shut off.

Why the city went with ATI instead of something like the T-121 is a mystery.

Because ATI management can pull a vacuum on an onion sack...
