FS 2001 Ambiance

While I was waiting in the car, I heard a sound which turned out to be the city of Rochester MN testing their sirens. From what I could tell all the sirens are 2001s and maybe an STH-10. I was surprised, but the 2001s didn't seem as effective as other sirens.

Our system is all 2001s. There was an Sth-10 a couple years ago, but it was located in Oronoco and replaced with a 2001-130. Aaron now owns that Sth-10.

They aren't effective but they are cheap, which is what most municipalities seem to care about. Kind of a shame that they care more about money over having a decent warning system that can save lives.
