The Siren Board

This thread is sort of for the area just under the Cincinnati Metropolitan area. Most of the counties in this area (Excluding Louisville, Lexington, etc.) are not well known, and most of their siren systems are very mysterious. I thought I would start a thread about them!

Counties included:

Kentucky:

Now, I have an ongoing map on Google earth of all the sirens I can fit. There is a big gap where these counties are. I do have a few sirens for some:

Kentucky:
Gallatin: A Model 5 that is noon tested
Owen: A Model 5/7 and a Masterblaster in Owenton
Trimble: A Masterblaster in Northern Trimble County and a Darley Model 2 in Bedford
Henry: A few Masterblasters and two STH-10s
Shelby: Some 2001s, a Darley STH-10 in Shelbyville
Bullitt: Some 2001s, a few 2/3T22s, a Modulator MOD 4016
Washington: N/A
Marion: N/A
Anderson: N/A
Mercer: A few sirens throughout the county, 2001s and some Sentrys
Scott: 2001s, a T-Beam and a T-Bolt

Indiana:
Switzerland: A Masterblaster in Patriot
Jefferson: A 2001 in Madison
Scott: A 2001 and a Model 2
Washington: N/A
Clark: Some 2001s
Floyd: Some 2001s

Now, with most of these counties, it is unknown when they test, and some sirens may be inactive. So hopefully you guys can fuel this thread with maps, pictures, locations and articles that will get us closer to unlocking these mysterious siren systems!

Scott County:
Model 2 at Jennings Township VFD, IN-256 and US-31
Model 2 at Lexington FD station 2, 2654 IN-203 (between Walnut and Hunt)

Clark County:
Model 5 at Station 3, Hale Road and Lewis & Clark, Clarksville
Model 2(?) at Station 5, 1924 Allison Lane, Jeffersonville

Model 5 - Lafayette Township Station 1, 4002 Scottsville Road, Floyds Knob

Awesome! I didn't have any of those sirens on my map!

I also know of some other SE Indiana sirens in counties not on your list if you're interested

Okay, throw em' out there! (Testing dates would be helpful if you have them, too)

Here's what I've got. Not sure about the testing dates on any of these... (These are in addition to the ones you mentioned back in October)

Dearborn County:
Bright - EOWS*612 at fire station #1, 23759 Brightwood Drive
Lawrenceburg - 2001 at US-50 and Speedway Drive
Moores Hill - TBolt 1003 at the fire department, 16907 Manchester Street
St. Leon - xt22 at the fire station, 28895 State Route 1, West Harrison

Franklin County:
Cedar Grove - Model 2 at the fire station, 2nd and Rochester

Ripley County:
Delaware - ? at the fire station, 5161 IN-129
Napoleon - Sentry 3V8 at the fire station, 8849 N US-421
Sunman - 2001 at the fire station, 621 N Meridian Street

Notes:
Delaware - there's some sort of siren on a pole behind the fire station, but it's too far back from the road to get a clear view on Street View and Bing doesn't have Birds Eye View here.
Siren at Moores Hill VFD confirmed to be a 1003 from a photo on the department's website. I haven't actually been there.

I had a few of those (Also given the fact you got some from me) but some of them I didn't! I also called up the Franklin County EMA, they say that the sirens are all fire sirens, and are not tested.

St. Leon has a T-128 somewhere in the city, I think it's by the High School. I see it when I go to Bloomington, Indiana every year. It's by the Water Tower, too. Anyone see it before?
