I looked at Federal Signal's current line-up of sirens and I noticed the 508 siren isn't listed. Has it been taken out of production or is it now just special order? http://www.federalsignal-indust.com/products/sirens
Edit: Looking here, it is still listed. I am now very confused.

It's strange that the first website doesn't list the 508, because they have the MOD II listed and that came out later. I suppose it is just because of the few different FS websites, since one site that I went on had the Eclipse-NH while the main website didn't.
The main FS website has the 508 listed, so it's probably just a lack of updates on the other site.

It may be like with the Thunderbolts, first, they installed some prototype units for testing, then they went into mass production.

That's the FS Industrial Products website. The Federal Warning Systems website is where you want to go for the most up to date and correct listings on outdoor warning sirens. Chalk it up to it not being listed, it is NOT out of production.
