Man, what a brief noon test that is! Hopefully next Saturday I can catch a chime test in Lordstown.

Kinda off-topic, but do you know if the 612 in Orrville works/is tested? I say that because practically that one and like two/three others in Tallmadge are the only 612s around this region I know of that utilize MCs.

Orrville's 612 is a mix and match. It rotates for it's test, but that's just my hypothesis, I didn't hear it on test day from a block away. (1st Wednesday @ 12:00 PM)

I might come back here again soon, mostly to test a chime test. Lordstown is too far from me.

Why is it so soft?

Lakewood's 612s and MOD utilize the MCP electronic siren controllers. Those controller's tone generators produce sine waves for its tones, likely making tones seem "soft". I could be wrong though.

Not my video, but here's a short one taken from what looks like the roof of Edgewater Tower, which is about a half mile away from one of Lakewood's 612s...

It seems to be much louder than the one in the OP. I wonder if the other one had bad drivers?
