My Four New Toys

Hey everybody,
I recently purchased four 3T22 sirens. I bought them from a guy that deals in new Whelens. These came from St. Mary's, Kansas. I got a great deal on these also. They are all 3 phase. He insisted that they all work, but I haven't been able to test them yet. They came with the RCM panels, but they are all missing a piece in them. They did not come with AF timers or radios. I have them all taken apart now, which was a pretty great task, but luckily they weren't rusted too bad. I have attached pictures of them, and more are to come.

What are you going to do with 4 of those beasts?

Probably keep one and sell the other three.

I see. I was theorizing that was what you'd do. Be careful not to set yourself up for low-balls, though.
These things aren't in that bad of condition, either. I don't really see any heavy rust on any of them.

They have almost no rust at all. I'm not sure how I'll go upon selling them at the time anyway. I would rather see them put back into service than all of them put into a collection, because they really are nice sirens.

I've never seen one of those in real life. They look like STH-10s with additional rotor and row of horns.
However, I have seen some videos of them and must say they have a GREAT sound.

More than likely I will restore them all and sell 3 of them to a city/cities.
