I've been working on maps of sirens in states for a few years now, and decided that I'd make a post here.
I'm currently working on a map of the entire state of North Carolina, which is about 1/4 of the way done. I've also been working on one for South Carolina, but I'm re-doing that one. I have one planned for the state of Wisconsin, and may do one for the state of Texas.

Very good. You and VAsirens should combine maps (or at least import the data between the two)

Thanks!!

I'm going to look at VASirens' map when I finish adding all the counties, so I can add the sirens I've missed.

If you could send me the mislabeled locations, that would be great!

It would be nice to see a Ohio statewide map down the road. Originally (3+ years ago) I started a map of sirens of my general region. At least to how if affected me due to the complexity, unorganized placemarks, and weird rendering at certain zoom levels I've gave up on the map and now consider it to be deprecated.

So now recently I'm making county level-based maps instead, in which should go quicker and streamlined. Though I suppose ultimately at the end once everything is completed, one or a few people who have other regions of Ohio completed can help collaborate to form a state map then.

I have quite a few counties Up in NW-Ohio mapped out if you ever wanted to pick up that project again.

Lucas, Wood, Williams, Van Wert, Henry, Sandusky, Seneca, and Defiance I believe.

I have a map of all of Michigan's sirens that I have found test schedule information for that I've been working on, but its so disorganized and jumbled that I haven't made it public yet.

I've had a template for a statewide Ohio map in the "Various Sirens" format laying around for a while now - it's just missing data. I'd be happy to add both of you as collaborators, if you'd like.

I decided to start a Statewide map for Texas a few weeks ago, and I'm about 41 counties in (of the 254 counties). Here's the link- http://goo.gl/maps/eIyAz
